I think you should consider making conversion kits for existing MGT customers too.
It’s pretty obvious Doug isn’t a yacht man based on the fact that he can barely keep this company afloat.
Matching metals are a easy yes, it's the fine details that make your stuff that much above others.
This is great, but I do think the next venture that most wyrmwood consumers could really sink their teeth into is modular gaming shelves. Why let IKEA Kallax just take that market for free? I really like AllPlay's modular shelving system, but I would love to see what Wyrmwood could come up with. Plus, it could potentially be never ending for some people. Some major hobbyists have 5+ full Kallax shelves, but they still only have one gaming table.
CEO Matt is the voice of the people
The fact that conversion kits from conventional mgt to this limited run style wasn't the first thing mentioned when talking about a MODULAR table built to be changed out in the future as desired strikes me as a failure in continuity of design. MGT was based off modularity, but instead of considering a modular conversion kit, the first thought was entirely new tables. You designed a product specifically for modularity. Don't lose sight of the core principal your product was designed around.
I really hope my accessory rack from the previous KS arrives soon :(
As an MGT owner who isn’t interested in another table, limited stylized accessories would really interest me the KS campaign. Something distinctive and unique would be a welcome addition to the accessories I already have! And truthfully, I’d love an excuse to be a part of another Wyrmwood Kickstarter campaign 💜
I would love a discussion on Desks and the future of desks. Great video
Is there any plans for art storage accessories for the desk? I know ppl paint miniatures so it might not be a bad idea.
How many years will this take? I’m on year 2 for a desk.
"99% of our sales are from domestic wood, tariffs will not affect us" "Hey guys lets do a Kickstarter with a bunch of exotic wood imports as tariffs may go into effect lol"
Is the table still “modular” if the wood-type is limited time and therefore you can’t expand or shrink it in the future?
Craftsman style trestle table. Get the legs out of the way let you sit anywhere
Hazel out here doing the lords work.
I feel like you've forgotten its a modular game table. you need to offer the ability to upgrade your current mgt.
Bullnose front on the accessories to match the ferule with custom engraving with things like our players' names engraved in brass on the cup holders, etc.
It looks SOOOO sturdy! Love it!
I was ready to commit to a table, but my wife told me we needed eggs, so it looks like it will have to be a 2026 dream for me.
