The team who made literally crammed a 2 hour movie into 12 minutes and made it more charming, entertaining, and filmograhpically superior to most modern pirate movies. This should get an award honestly, it's excellent. I sat still, beginning to end. They made an amazing story without words, and this is honestly something I will recommend to people. A+ is an understatement.

A friend sent me this to review as a story. I must say, this could be used as a textbook example of a good story. Everything from the subtle character details like Derp's walk to how Derp gradually progresses toward individuation is spot-on, masterful storytelling crammed perfectly into a 12-minute animation. Phenomenal work!

The amount of detail in these animations is amazing! The lighting, sound design and the cinematography were superb, not to mention the rest of the animation. Easily one of my favourite Derp animations; a great mixture of comedic and tense moments throughout, not to mention the rivalry between Derp and the other pirates and of course, Derp being the best pirate he can be. With the skeletons, ghosts, puzzle temples, map boards, outposts, forts, sloops, annoying crews stealing your treasure, and great music, this seems a lot like Sea of Thieves, and is just as amazing.
