This’ll be my New Year’s resolution: getting at least 2 certs and getting out my job and into cyber. I’ve spent 4 years too long worrying about things, and I refuse to spend another year doing the same thing
35 starting a IT class for my CompTIA & network+ & going back to college, wish the best for everyone this year
This video really helped me to start working towards my first steps. Been at a dead end job for 18 years and I’m so desperate for a change. Thank you for the pointers
Thanks dude! I was stuck in a void to what to do next after my A+ cert and couldn’t figure out where to even begin with cyber security. Just watching professor sec+ videos with nothing to practice with left me feeling over my head and felt like I would retain nothing. Thank you for a path to follow instead of walking in the darkness lol
Earned two certifications this year, Security+ and OSCP.. while still pursuing my CS degree in college. No excuses people need to step up and make things happen!
Yo thank you, I actually don't have a lot of money, so completing the google certificate to get a $120 discount on the security + is HUGE. Thanks
Please do a new cybersecurity career path video with new/unpopular fields that are junior level friendly. Thank you❤
Just finished foundations in cyber security with google on coursera.. on to the next, thanks mehn!
I love how you explain complex topics in a simple way. This is exactly what the community needs—practical and useful cybersecurity advice!
I'm doing the THM Security Analyst path. I went in thinking, oh with my Security+, i should know stuff! Nope. Got humbled real quick. Much more hands on. If i got stuck, i'd look for a guide. Sure I could enter all the answers but I don't want to be Jon Snow.
Thanks bro! I will take note all of these you mentioned here in this video, I don't have any progress in my present work. I will do my best to learn these step by step.
I think the most important parth is get comfortable with the fundamentals, do not think about cyber security just yet, learn some coding, networking, Linux, computer architecture... Build some projects, a game, web development, spend some months just in the fundamentals and then you might transition to cyber security. Remember strong fundamentals!
thanks for being cool about these topics. I'm on my third year of yelpdesk and I'll be following your tips to find a new position.
I completed Coursera foundations and security +
My local trade school offers IT security courses so this video helped, thank you.
Thank you for this I’m just getting into learning about IT and have been interested in Cyber but not for sure if it’s for me or not. It takes me a little longer and I have to actually practice hands on to fully understand concepts. Glad to hear it’s normal to take your time and not obtain everything in 6 months.
ok hello wasn't expecting new order outro
26 and starting anew. Was interested at first when I was 16 but gave it up instantly. 10 years later and one day that interest for rekindled out of nowhere.
wow! really informative!👏
