My grandfather and my father are both decorated naval officers. My dad got his medals saving lives in a crisis situation. He's still not allowed to talk about it. He's retirement age, its time to cash in, but it doesn't sound like the government respects our vets. I had a huge fight with my boyfriend the other day when he said Trump is a veteran. I said, "stolen valor" and those are fighting words because his dad's a vet too. He told me to prove Trump isn't a vet, and I said, "no, your side makes claims all the time and bring nothing to back it! You prove to me that he IS, and I will (bedroom stuff)." And he couldn't. He said, "It just seems like he would be." And I was like, "you're diabetic. Ease off the kool-aid."

I served on FIVE aircraft carriers. I've seen crashes and actually saw one roll off the deck into the sea when a tow bar broke. The young man in the cockpit was lost. It's the world's most dangerous workplace. The people are very competent. It's just a very dangerous job.
