Fun fact:Romanias Animal in Romanian is translatet to "laugh" since both the animal and the emotion have the same name being "Răz"

@davidkapus3226

The Hungarian one is the Turul, a mythical eagle which guided our ancestors to the Carpathian Basin.

@umaywashere

Turkey’s national animal is not just a wolf but specifically a grey wolf. Turks have a strong connection to grey wolves. When we were in Central Asia (before converting to Islam), there was a myth about a creature called Asena. She was a goddess in the shape of a grey wolf who gave birth to 10 offspring, the ancestors of the 10 Turkic tribes. Interestingly, Asena is still a fairly common Turkish girl name in Turkey today. I hope this provides further explanation on our national animal ☺️
