One thing that I’ve been wanting for the longest time was a boss or enemy maker because it would be so cool to be able to make an enemy throws a bomb then make an upgraded version that throws three and then make a boss that just has a bunch of bomb different related attacks it will be really cool and spice up the formula they would need to limit it, but I feel like it would still be pretty cool. Hopefully they makes it.

The mouse feels like it's going full circle with Mario Paint and the SNES mouse and It's Mario's 40th anniversary this year, so I definitely think we'll be getting Mario Maker in October. If we go off of Nintendo's recent reveal-release schedule, it'll be announced in July.

I would love Mario maker 3 with mouse controls. A feature that I thought would be awesome for Mario maker 3 would be to "make online" where while you're making a level people can join and test the current state of it, and the maker can see the ghosts attempting the level live. this along with online co-op building would be awesome.

Now hear me out. Yes Nintendo should utilize the mouse controls for SMM3, BUT keep the style as a 2D title. Add in a few more power ups from the series, some unique bosses from other Mario games that require strategy to beat them, more obstacles and platforms, and instead of 2 areas in one level we can build, let us have 3 along with the ability to place the end goal in any of them, including a hidden one so a level can have 2 exits. Nintendo can ALSO release Super Mario 3D Maker dedicated to the 3D Mario titles so the customization will be all 3D. This would also be an excellent use of the mouse controls to help place and make a level. The end goal could be a star, shine sprite, a goal post, and even a mushroom. Just some ideas.

Mario Maker 3 would absolutely be perfect for the Switch 2 because of the new mouse mode on the JoyCons. Splatoon 4 honestly can wait till 2026 or early 2027 no need to rush that game like they did before. I would expect them to do Mario Maker 3 first before anything like Splatoon 4 even though mouse mode would be insane for it as well.

If the next 3d mario is an open world and they give up the separate zones then I could see mario maker 3d appearing, we could have 5 styles(64, sunshine, galaxy, land/world and odyssey), many biomes and interaction possibilities, they could keep having 4 players mode possible and have different size of levels.

Imagine making your own planetoids from Mario Galaxy using mechanics from both games....I just know people out there will make INSANE builds!

Super Mario Maker 3 should be Super Mario Maker 3D and have players make 3D Mario levels. If someone can make a full 3D Mario game out of this, I’d be all over it!

I would love a 3D Mario Maker!!! I would probably (almost) just create Super Mario Sunshine inspired Levels... But having the possibility to create a 3D Land/World, Sunshine, Galaxy or even Bowser's Fury Level would be awesome!!!
