@GrantHorvatGolfs

I laughed so hard proof watching this

@keepingitneil

Featuring these juniors is an amazing endeavor for your platform, Grant. 6 years ago I got paired with an 12 year old kid randomly. I could tell he was nervous, if not just because he was a kid and I was a stranger, but also he said he joined a junior league and wanted to make his high school golf team. I asked if he ever golfed with mom/dad and he said he was 1 of 7 kids and they didn't have time - they just dropped him off. Immediately he had a better attitude than most golfers and had genuine talent (shot 44 on his 5th 9 holes ever - which was this round with me). I gave him all kinds of simple advice, he absorbed it like a sponge. I even told his parents I play every Tuesday at 5:30 if he wanted to join the tee time and learn - and he did a few more times.

I moved away the next year. But 6 years later I got a random FB message that he is an all-state golfer and looking at offers from 3 colleges. Grow the game, they say...

@HoosierDaddy1775

I’m not a golfer but my dad who recently passed away played 4 days a week. I’ve never seen a golf video on YouTube and this popped up. Everything about this video was pure class, you were encouraging, motivating but most of all kind. The video went by so fast and I thought to myself I would love to share this with my dad, in all actuality, I think he shared it with me

@justinheilig3529

Grant, " You had that wedge spinning, you must watch Wesley Bryan".
Brantley, " I dont even know who that is."
That was the funniest part of the video.
That kid can play!

@AdamC_fst

An absolute credit to his parents and coaches. Got it all at 9 years old, perfect attitude, manners on point and confidence. This kid is going places.

@devgrujsoc

i LOVE THIS KID!!! OMG 9 YEARS OLD AND HE HAS BEEN RAISED THE RIGHT WAY...GREAT JOB MOM AND DAD!!!

@jeffthompson6162

Man.. I worked at a golf course for ten years. Was a ranked high school golfer back in the day. I ate, drank, breathed and dreamed golf growing up. In my adult life I became jaded to the game. Basically have grown to hate it and only put up with it for family time with my dad and nephews. Been watching some of these episodes with my dad. This channel and Grant's attitude reminds me of how I use to feel about the game and why. I'm 38 y/o now. It was never the game of golf that was the problem. Golf is a special gift. Thank you, Grant.

@jumpguyty

Grant, you're simply the most wholesome human on YouTube golf. The way you spoke with Brantley was so kind, motivating and natural. Your father and mother did an incredible job raising you my guy. Wow.

@willdegraw

great attitude. terrific manners. should be proud parents.

@MauriceSaxonville

So impressed with how polite and well-spoken Brantley is - thank you's and yes sir's throughout the entirety. I guess it's a result of that Southern hospitality (and good parents, I assume). Great kid.

@Harry-ks5cj

I don't watch your content and I don't know if you have kids Grant, but it was amazing to see how you spoke to and encouraged Brantley. You interacted with the kid in the way any "good" parent/adult should; encouraging but not condescending. Brantley relaxed once he knew you were someone he could trust; that is the same for all kids.

@ryangratland2330

I’m not one to leave comments. But, I gotta say you highlighting these young golfers in such a positive and encouraging way is awesome. 👏 to you Grant!

@stevegiles1729

First hole, kid chips in!! I don't have to putt he says 😂

@Kosmohs

"You've been watching a lot of Wesley Bryan, huh?"

"I don't even know who that is." 😂

@bradensmith661

This kid is something special. Parents raising this little dude right, can’t wait to watch him on the tour

@devgrujsoc

What's the best about this lad is HE IS AS POLITE, GOOD NATURED, CLASSY AND JUST A GREAT KID, AS HE IS TALENTED...WHO WOULDN'T WANT A SON LIKE THIS YOUNG MAN?? GOD BLESS YOU IN LIFE AS YOU'VE ALREADY BEEN IN GOLF!!

@mikefrost5660

I really like the way Grant includes the younger generations to his challenges. Grow the game from young to old.

@djrainey573

Grant, this is what separates you from others on YouTube! Great content and good stuff getting these young guys more coverage. You treat everyone so well and it’s a joy to watch!

@Mikebodack

Grant, you will be an amazing father one day soon. it's clear you have a huge heart and the way you encouraged Brantley was really amazing! Way to go.

@bradm4493

I think the coolest thing about this is he has videos of him playing with some of the greatest golfers to ever play. However, in my opinion, this seems the most pumped/excited/fun he’s had in any video. Playing with a 9 year old. Just awesome stuff.
