"Oh, It's Beautiful" Seriously tho, the nostalgia. Holy shit
In Memory of Tomoyuki Tanaka (1910-1997) In Memory of Ishirō Honda (1911-1993) In Memory of Eiji Tsuburaya (1901-1970) In Memory of Akira Ifukube (1914-2006) In Memory of Yoshimitsu Banno (1931-2017) May the People who created the King of the Monsters rest in peace.
A rare occasion where it actually feels like those involved give a damn.
This ain't no national anthem, this is our global anthem
Oh god. Those first notes hit and I was already crying. This… this is beautiful. I just never thought I'd hear this from a major Hollywood film.
KOTM might not have been perfect, but you can tell it was crafted by a team who genuinely adored Godzilla. And I thank Micheal Dougherty for this masterpiece.
I can't believe I can hear THIS TUNE in an american "Godzilla" movie. Waited my whole life for this.
Legendary: "We should hire someone who can give a proper treatment to Gods." Team: "So, that guy from God of War?" Legendary: "That guy from God of War."
I was so happy they remastered the original music from the 1954 movie
1998 - The Betrayal 2014 - The Apology 2019 - The Redemption
When you hear this theme in the movie King Gidorah: Ah Shit, Here we go again Godzilla: You pick a wrong house fool!
Endgame: The best fanservice of 2019 Godzilla: “Hold my Nuclear Reactor...”
All rise for the national Anthem
He’s now 65 years old, a Titan that eclipses all of them. Bow down to your all mighty Godzilla,King of Monsters
* old theme song plays * Everyone at the cinema: OHHHHHH!
This film, no joke, has the best soundtrack ive ever heard.
1:07 to 2:06 = absolute pure epic musical perfection. LONG LIVE THE KING!!!
Me: watching this movie with my dad who watched the original Godzilla films when he was my age growing up this theme starts to play Me: looks at my dad and my jaw drops in sheer happiness while I am mentally freaking out hearing the theme My Dad: smiles back at me and chuckles saying, “can’t believe they actually used something I would remember.”
