This take on Superman really feels like the guy from Kansas who wants to do the right thing. After so many years of cynical superhero stories (looking at you, the boys) it’s nice to have the OG showing people who a superhero is supposed to do. SAVE PEOPLE!!

My god, I haven’t wanted to see a Superman movie so badly in nearly 40 years!!!! It even looks like a new plot line, instead of the old rehashed origin stories we keep seeing!

I’m loving it. I loved the tension between Lois and Clark during that interview. Made me instantly love Rachael Brosnohan as Lois. It showed that Superman don’t see borders, he see’s lives that needs saving, and Lois, even though she shares the same values as Superman when it comes to saving lives, she’s a reporter first. I think she’s gonna portray a Lois we’ve never seen before, one that will throw tough questions at Superman that’ll rattle him. That she’ll push him to think about the bigger “American” picture.

I feel like Gunn, despite having his name becoming a huge sensation, is not letting that swell his ego and try to retell these movies as HIS movies. He understands the characters he's working with, how they are meant to be portrayed and not go on full "artiste" and make something pretentious or overly-deep just to put his signature over the source material.

I’m feeling somewhat the same. I think camp is fine as long as it’s not distracting amounts of it. I’m hoping this one finds a good balance between Reeve’s depiction and Cavill
