I like it! You should do a series on all the DEs as a quick walkthrough. I know people cover KDE and Gnome a lot but not as much as cinnamon and xfce and others. Could be fun!

KDE neon was the distro I chose when switching to Linux from Win10 about a month again. As a noobie to Linux I think it's KOOL and fairly easy to navigate around. So now I just have to learn all the Linux jargon but thanks to Google it's not to bad.

To me Plasma never looks as outdated, I simply see something nostalgic and amazing each time I install it and I know I can customize it as I wish with tons of options, contrary to Gnome that I feel "Oh damn... I hope at least the few extensions I use are up to date and working to let this desktop at least useful"

Currently using KDE on my home desktop (Garuda) and work laptop (Feren OS). So far, I like how customizable it is, it's a crime that there aren't more prominent themed KDE distro - with KDE neon, kubuntu, and Manjaro KDE being the most recommended ones but doesn't even scratch into its potential (Manjaro KDE is apparently interested in adopting Feren's desktop layout switcher implementation though). KDE officially making a GNOME-like Overview is cool. People has wanted it for long, and they deliver (though it isn't finished yet). Hide_titles making it easy to have a Borderless Maximized Window is great too - combined with Global Menu, it's better than Unite. And system tray icon out of the box too. And with how much less drama in KDE community, I think I'm going to stay with KDE for a while.

Plasma doesn't get enough love from distro developers. Imagine how much better the world could have been if KDE Plasma was the default DE of Ubuntu (instead of filthy gnome)

😂 I too forget about F12 drop down terminal... I've just recently started out with KDE again, long time ago I hated it for it's bloatness, now seems actually pretty cool.
