@semy28nfs

German here, Berlin stage is a perfect recreation. I was very suprised they even thought of the whomps.

@Shortcat321

I'm glad you have Mushroom Gorge in S tier! It was surprising that you said it's better than MKWii but I appreciate that you're being unbiased about Wii tracks. I completely agree that the redesign looks and plays better (especially super bounces).

On the other hand, I feel like Coconut Mall is not necessarily better or worse, it's just different.

@CowJangles

4:14 I don't know what's funnier, the shroom location, or the excitement to get the shroom which would do nothing to help the situation

@jbomb7867

34:50 I've been to Vancouver. There's a sweet suspension bridge park where you can walk through the trees like that. Definitely recommend.

@princeapoopoo

i'm truly and genuinely fascinated by the fact that you spent the entire time of choco mountain glazing it only to put it in d

@j-yoshi64_justcallmej

My opinion that Sky Garden should've been presented as an original track instead of a GBA track has been validated.

@shadowflamegaming5598

Of all the things Nintendo has done with the booster pass, the re-emphasis of shortcuts have been great, really hoping for some good ones in Mario Kart 9!

@princessjellyfish98

JUSTICE FOR MARIO CIRCUIT 3! I actually think c-tier is a fair ranking for it but I feel like it's the kind of simple circuit track that doesn't need to be changed. I would MUCH rather have a simplistic layout like MC3 with challenging turns and fun shortcuts than a wide and boring toad circuit. And I think Nintendo knows how fun the layout is which is why I think they keep bringing it back

I'm not German but I decided to visit Berlin last year because I loved Tour Berlin Byways so much and it absolutely did not disappoint. The course couldn't be more accurate to the actual city, it is like a miniaturized Berlin which is amazing. By visiting the city I was finding the landmarks exactly where they were supposed to be (I mean, I even foreshadowed where the zoo was before actually visiting it because the course was so accurate in everything thus far). The fact that they made a masterpiece of a course so perfectly accurate to the actual city doesn't get enough credit, Tour Berlin Byways is without a doubt one of the best courses ever made and deserves way more credit than it receives. For a Mario Kart course to be able to make me want to visit a city you know it's got to be one of my favourites.

Easy S tier.

@laggalot1012

The Booster Course Pass is definitely more of a mixed bag than the base game tracks, but there's nevertheless a good few real winners in here.

@pixelsz14

Piranha Plant Cove and Sqeaky Clean Sprint have to be my top 2! SCS lines are super fun to master, and PPC shortcuts are so fulfilling to pull off!

@Savethekoroks101

The first time I played Daisy Cruiser and Daisy Circuit, I was drifting around the circles because I had no idea where to go.

@semy28nfs

You sadly don't talk a lot about the remade music. It's a fixed part of the stage since you can't turn off or change the music.

@Stu67nt

Bangkok is one of the best city tracks looks wise as it just has so much personality which i feel is missing from a lot of the other city tracks

@D0tchJulian

Hi, I'm someone from the Netherlands. Thank you for putting Amsterdam so high on the list, I'm glad you like it!! I don't live in Amsterdam but ofcourse I've been there many times! Amsterdam is a great city for a trip and there are many things to see. My tip if you want to visit the Netherlands sometime, do a roadtrip! The roads are really good and the train works realy well. There are so many great cities in the Netherlands like Rotterdam, The hague, Delft (my favorite), Utrecht and many more!! Hope you come to my country sometime ((:

@natedawg19

31:44 How did I NOT notice the “98”. That was great!

@Sean-qg3gg

We differ the most with the city tracks, particularly Tokyo Blur, Paris Promenade, Berlin Byways, and Vancouver Velocity. Tokyo Blur is at least average for me, as it slots into the category of rounded turns being fun to drive. Paris Promenade is a bottom 2 track in the whole game for me, as it’s kinda the opposite of what I just described with Tokyo Blur. Berlin Byways is just very frustrating to drive; it feels like the features in the track, like its shortcuts and alternate routes, just don’t work. The music is what makes it okay to me, as it’s a great theme. Vancouver Velocity just feels high octane and GCN-esque. One general thing I love about the BCP is that there’s a handful of tracks, including Paris Promenade, where you can run into racers on previous laps. While my first Mario Kart was N64, I really grew up with Double Dash, and transitioned to Mario Kart Wii (and now MK8 is over half my age), so I appreciate how MK8 in general feels like a Double Dash 2.0, as I believe it also brought back the most tracks from that game than MKDS, MKWii, and MK7, maybe even MKTour.

@isabellabutalsoizzy

really hot take: the city courses are some of my favorite tracks in the game. easy mid to lower s tier

@cd2_

I never understood the Bangkok rush hate, by far my favorite city track of them all. Just the variety of the track the driving etc. it’s all so solid
