The Ancestors of what would become the Dread Korps in modern foxhole fought within the great battle of Red River and had the largest ever rolling volley of the battle with over 120 rifles firing in a wave. It was a true blood bath and a lot of fun. They should run it once per year in my opinion.

even this would be more fun than resistence phase little things like this or the zombiemode to keep players engaged outside of the main war and even brings in a new avenue of players potentially

I still cannot believe no one has tried to combine Foxhole and Starcraft 2 together. I mean the outline is already there! collect minerals, and gas and with a gigantic tech tree from each campaign. there is already a starcraft 2 mod that makes it so everything requires "crew" to operate. (perfect mod 10/10)

Make it even more assymetrical with 2 or even 3 completely unique factions in a futuristic setting like starcraft or any other science fiction or fantasy setting

Did they say why they wont use this technology in Foxhole? They should make servers capable of handling scale like this and remove the charlie and baker shards imo.
