Im ok with creating another buu made by a witch. But making the primary buu a failed minion diminishes one of the only good pieces of his character. That being the fact that he was chaos personified, a being created by the universe. That was one of his most interesting aspects

It's so strange that after so long Toriyama actually goes hard on lore instead of just a mere justification for the plot. I'm lovin it. I hope more stuff is mapped out or confirmed in the lore.

I think the essence of Buu has existed since the beginning of life as he is the manifestation of mortal sins. Marba just used that evil essence to give Buu form. In a sense, Marba never made Buu herself, but instead just gave him form

Well actually all 3 statements can sort of go exist in a way, some of the essence used to create the body could have been from some evil spirit that inhabited several beings through reincarnation that bibidi brought, because kid buu/hub is the only character to reincarnate on dragon ball, idk if that makes sense it’s just my head canon

People flipping out about this but also forget that several years back there was talk of the true origin of buu, and whether or not bibidi created him like we believed he did in z. This was around the same time we had the theory of the magic gasses inside Buu, and up until super premiered blue vegito, both of these theoryies were just theories Until now, we finally get confirmation and everyone’s mad?? The super retcon can also still work… they aren’t supreme Kai’s, but a supreme Kai would need a magic gas/wish to seperate. Still makes sense to me. And I hope that kibito and shin need to fuse again, and that when they return to earth, Buu is asleep and unable to absorb them. This would force them to go to namek and wish to be seperate, as the earth dragon balls are inactive. Kibito-shin is the only thing that truly stands in the way of the canon/maintaining continuity amongst super and Z
