Don't forget the first flower dance when you don't know you need FOUR HEARTS to get a partner so you have to stand in the shame corner
i like that the universal first reaction to junimos is "is that an apple?" in literally every stardew valley playthrough i’ve seen
~ "there was an earthquake during the night" OH NO MY FARM!!! ~ walking through town and up past the community center to get to/from the mines because you don't know the north path exists. ~ using a tool instead of talking to an npc then feeling bad that you just hit/watered them. ~ Choosing bat cave because it sounds awesome.. then sad that you never see bats in there ~ mowing all the grass, building a coop just because the quest progression says to, now have starving chickens. ~ Losing the egg hunt
Man the first time I saw fog in the mines and a bunch of bugs started coming, almost shat my pants. Didn't go into the mines for days after that 😂😂
Don't forget the "I need money, eh I'll probably don't need these stones *WHY DID I SELL ALL MY STONE I NEEDED THAT*"
5 hours later a stardrop will remind you of the taste of cheese and you will be very confused
The tree falling into the water is a deep pain.
Hahaha so accurate 😂 my first encounter w Shane I was straight up about to uninstall the game, I was like i did NOT buy this cozy game to be around that kinda energy! Giving your first prizzy shard to Gunther is a classic first run mistake imo
I had my ancient fruits bearing fruits till I had my seed maker then I turned them all into seeds, rougly 90, then I planted them in fall happily. I wake up, its winter and all of them are dead. Had to sit down and think about life for a while
Dying in the mines because you forgot to watch your health bar. Dying in skull cavern because you were not ready for that difficulty spike. Field snacks. (You mean I DON'T have to bankrupt myself at Gus's to get energy?!)
Forgetting the spring crops bundle and realising you won't be able to finish the pantry until next spring
One experience myself and multiple friends had when we were completely new and didn't know the map was getting lost while foraging in Cindersap Forest for the first time and passing out trying to get home before 2am. Another noob experience I remember was not realizing that I could walk down the road at the bus stop, which delayed Linus getting his basket. There's also not knowing what to bring for the Luau (probably after selling everything you just harvested), and getting a crappy reaction during your first year.
This is so true and funny and I read the comments and it's just bringing back memories of when I was really bad at the game like this 😂
I typed "farm" when naming my farm on my first playthrough. So every time it was mentioned, they said farm twice.
there's "I just gave that man a weed" and then there's "that man just stole my copper which I very much needed"
Simply giving gunther your first prismatic shard or your dino egg.
Forgetting the silo is a classic mistake as well
Classic newbie experience is returning robins axe super late, same with other fetch quests without a timer
Leaving at 9pm to get to home on time (then after leaving at 1am to get to home on time)
