I was going to buy one for the OTP feature, but as it relies on the other user to download an app, I think that's going to kill it for me.

I have been reading up but I dont know that I understand exactly .
When you buy the lock box then you open the package and to make the unit go live you register its serial number and the email and details of the owner or user By downloading the Master Lock app and putting that info onto their database .
Right so the email address which is registered is the administrator or controller in perpetuity nominally .
Read the contract small print ...
So if this administrator wants to re-code ( it only communicates with Blue tooth not an email or mobile phone signal so technically they must be within blue tooth range ?? ) the box they cant do it unless they have  proximity  so they can send a code to someone who is close to the safe allowing  them to open the safe . But they cant piggy back onto that users phone to communicate to reset the password / pin

Hello I recent bought a new phone and now when I sign into my app, it says ‘access expired: please make sure your phone is online to refresh your lock information’. I cannot change access codes. It the Bluetooth key box.

If this is blouetooth only, how in the world can you give someone access without being in bluetooth range (io, at location) of the lock?

How does it communicate if your phone is not in range? Presume it doesn't access wifi or 4G?

Good video!.  Can you connect to your home wifi to be able to generate access codes from another city?  or only bluetooth access seizures are generated
