I checked my settings and was surprised to find that it was set to delete messages after 30 days. I guess I didn’t really notice it. I make sure I get what I need from it when it comes to my family when I get messages from them but otherwise, I guess 30 days is enough. However, Apple should perhaps give us more choices in how long to keep them like for 6 months or 2 years.
