@wyattcastro1324

if you haven't woken your entire family at 3 in the morning by screaming "MEDIC!!!!!!" you aren't playing foxhole right

@VVVestas

In my first week playing Foxhole as a Warden, I only did logi moving supplies to the front, once I completed my delivery I was returning to my truck a guy in a tank with the most Texan accent approached me and yelled at me to get in the gunner seat. I replied that I didn't know how to use the tank and he replied "you will learn right now son get in the fking tank" I got in because I thought he was some superior xd I felt like the kid from Fury

@soni3608

"wait, its all larp?"
"Always has been"

@TheLPRnetwork

Role play = High Moral. Motivation incress
No Roll play = More clear thinking and better communications.
Conclusion: Read the air. Read the room. understand what everyone around you is trying to achieve. Be a help, not a hinder.

@hoanglinhle4468

- You can Roleplay Logistics by picking up a hammer and heading to the nearest coal mine.
- May not get you blacklung but close enough.

@heads7222

started about a week ago and this was my experience...

Played frontline for my first 20 or so hours and loved it but felt i needed a change so i decided to try logi, i pull up to get some scrap at callums cape and the first guy i talk to says in a hardened coal miner who has been smoking since births voice "First time eh?" i say "yeah im new could you teach me a few things?" he replies with a laugh and says "listen here son, all you gotta do is hate those collie bastards and the rest is easy" Best bit of roleplay i have seen and is the reason i now LOVE foxhole

@ArminiusFH

Larping is one factor of many to remain a high motivation and to have fun. My first Larp encounter in this game was when a Collie Medic from Red Cross healed a Warden Comrade. We quickly had 4 Warden Soldiers defending the Collie Medic not to get shot, because he was constantly healing Wardens as well.

That was a very intense moment in War 115

@flo8324

Only roleplay language I use is telling people that we'll be home by Christmas whilst getting shelled by 5 stormcannons

@IMGsmereka

It’s not a larp is you hate collies in real life.

@boldCactuslad

That Briton guy who is always screaming? One of my favorite players. Morale is so underrated in Foxhole, fronts with RPers do better because nobody wants to leave, everyone wants to stick with the team and the yelling guy, even if they have to put the fun rifle away to take out defenses.

@BlueLaminate

Hey that's me near the end! :D I had to join that guy scrooping, but it was straight back to the fight after that interaction hahaha

Roleplay (when it doesn't hinder gameplay) is great. I was once hanging around in Terminus and then heard a lot of water splashing noises. Thinking that a large ship returning from battle and was bailing water, I ran there immediately.

No. There was no large boat. It was 4 guys deciding to give logi trucks car washes, and a bunch of logi trucks even stopped and said "wash my car too"

I laughed my butt off HAHAHA

@sidewithwerewolves

i love the "light" roleplay it gives the game an element of fun and game-ness that lets you know your playing with people here to have fun. it adds some flare to the game and why Foxhole is my favorite MMO

@ansfelt8154

The veyr first night I got on foxhole (I played as a colonial), was like day 16 or 17 of the current war 117. Spawned in Farranac coast and got led into a serie of suicidal bayonet charges against the Tera Relic Base by some brazilian dude with a very strong accent saying the most ludicrous insults to get us motivated at being mowed down by warden machineguns. It was hell of a fun.

@FulKnight

3:02 I feel like a lot of people nowadays (not talking about game companies) begin to forget that the reason we play videogames is to have fun, as long as it doesn't get in the way of other people

@GeoffreyJennings

As someone who's been roleplaying as a reporter since 2018, I can easily say, with only one or two minor exceptions, every person I've interviewed has been all-in on the schtick. They get it almost immediately, and are more than willing to completely recount their experience or bring me along their objective. The approachability of the common player on the battlefield is why I consider Foxhole one of the best MMO experiences out there.

4:50 This was my number one concern when starting the PressCorps, but as long people stick to Robert's points on common decency, they're likely going to get a positive response eventually. The point about ensuring the mic volume is at a good level is really important. I've found most people actually like players who play music, and the people who play really, really loud music as a meme, actually think they're playing it at a decent level. Three separate times, I've told people "hey your music is actually too loud to the point where we can't understand what you're playing," and they corrected it.

@sebastianfries274

I always enjoy rp when I’m wounded or charging because there’s nothing else to say except
“HOLY GUACAMOLE MY WHOLE LEG BE GONE”
Or (my favorite when wardens say “collie go home”) “I AINT GOIN HOME TILL MOMMY’S APPLE PIE IS BAKED, AND ITS NOT EVEN IN THE OVEN!”

@ijbos620

I was once minding my own business scrooping in the back line and a guy on a bicycle came and delivered me “mail”. It made my day!

@J.Mills15

Had the most fun I’ve had a couple nights ago. RP Medic up in Callahans passage as we were pushing northward. Buddied up with a grenadier who kept saying “Revive me doc, I gotta shoot more of that green gassssss”

@ZiWil-i7t

I completely agree role-playing adds another aspect or depth to foxhole and whenever I get the game, I would really love to start role-playing or even just striking up a conversation on the front.❤❤❤

@sirbittle

I've only played a little bit of the game but I find I enjoy some "light" or "contextual" roleplay. You could still be working to do the optimal thing but RP a bit while doing so.
