@ModPhenomenon

In a world of trouble as nowadays, Martin gives a weekly fixing point of calmess, peace and natural living reduced to that was is needed. Thank you, Martin!

@bettybryson9637

Thankful for your stove to keep you from the cold on your mountaintop.
In this world of woe and war, we all want to “flee as a bird to the mountain” for peace and beauty.

@avonleaellio-i3v

Thank you for creating these videos. With all the craziness, sadness, and the awful in the world...we get reminded of the beauty and splendor of gems of nature and humanity on this planet. May you be blessed and reminded of the value of what you are doing and the impact of connection you bring to all of us. I am sure you may get tired and find moments tedious creating for us, so thank you for your efforts...the work accomplished by you and others is amazing. Have a great and safe week!

I recently introduced my partner to this wonderful series, and as a result ended up watching many episodes for the second time. I was struck by, as with a good book, a second read revealed much that I had missed the first time around.
For me, this reveals why this journey that Martijn is sharing with us is so good, that there are many layers to find.

@karenmeharg6550

I love that you are so kind to the chickens. It shows that you are a caring man of good character.
Thank you. ❤

@trudiegordon6327

I live in my own little world away from newspapers and radios and tv and only watch youtube and taped programmes which are few on TV. I love nature and plants and animals and it is so important to realise that things that are reported are not of our making and we can all just do what we can for our little space. Martijn does what he can for his and it is so good to see peaceable reportings. Glad the chicken was found and the masonry stove is so exciting. We have a very rainy day today which is subsiding soon but watching the stove made me make hot vegetable soup and put the heating on for a short while to air the house after all the rain. Still pretty mild in England but makes you appreciate home when the weather gives you rain and the need for shelter.

@amtrim33

It's good to see the Irish making a contribution at last! Fair play Deirdra & Ronan.

@YourGMJay

Man, once you get the oven built you can do stuff in the house during winter. That'll be huge.

@ellendoyle1957

So happy you found the chicken. She was hiding since it was dark to prevent predators from seeing her. She seems so much better at the end of the video. Thank you for sharing your life with us.

@lizlane7278

Woke up early & looked for your post. When I didn't see it my heart sank. Then I thought , he's taking some well deserved time off. Went about my business.
When I noticed you had posted I was so elated. Didn't realize how much these posts have become an integral part of my Sun routine.
Thank you.

@fiberbeads

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm almost looking forward to the winter! So excited to see the fruits of your labor unfold! The quick view of your night sky brought me to tears! Also, it is so important for you to know that we truly love you Martijn. Those of us who have followed you faithfully are emotionally invested in every episode. MANY thanks for including is in this wonderful journey and the amazing progress this year. Stay safe.

@steveelias3727

I said it before in previous comments. This show is my church. I come here very Sunday. I also said that if this channel doesn't get some kind of award something is wrong. The fastest hour on You tube, bar none...the Internet, bar none. I am an too old to visit and help you Martijn, but if you ever turn your home into a B@B I want to stay. To see your vision. I see your vision. This video was exceptional. It even brought tears to my eyes. Fascinating is all I can say. Except, I want your hat.😀

@MrSquirrelfoot

I read several comments, all of which express my thoughts well. The night sky was exquisite, and the chickens were precious. Every decision you make encourages us all to, as you once said, "measure twice, and cut once". We need more good people to step up and bring balance and hope to the people of our beautiful Earth. I found you accidentally and have seen all the videos. Thank you so much for being a good example to so many.

@alexandrianova6298

That "hey!" when he sees the chicken and having a stern conversation with it of "what's going on?" was too cute. That was an intense moment for all of us

@diannathomasjohnson3751

OMG!! In all of my entire 71 years of life I have NEVER seen so many stars in one night sky! Thank you for that INCREDIBLE view!!

@richardplacentino8307

It's better than a soap opera, really look forward to my Sunday fix

@louiseclark7967

Awww...She must have been terrified, especially hearing the dogs. She just went to ground and stayed hidden. Smart girl! She must have been so relieved to hear your voice, Martijn. This winter will be so different from last, with the first house sealed and the stove in. Love to see who shows up to help every week! Thank you for taking us above the clouds...Take care hon. See you next time

@JackOutLoud

In the kingdom of heaven, Martin will rebuild every single old house in the alps and then some. Love watching Martin.

@wscull

As someone who is also fortunate to have a house made of stone (mine is over 900 years old, originally built by the moors during the time they occupied the Cadiz area in southern Spain), I am inspired by with your relationship to the walls (and the great roof), your steady work ethic and your patient and exact manner of carrying out the many tasks. These kind of buildings are built for the ages and the solid rock gives a real feeling of being nurtured and protected. I have been watching since the beginning and have learned a lot and also been inspired by many of your ideas - very grateful to have you sharing this experience with all of us!

@Michael_1946

Very happy that the white chicken was found safe.
