I admittedly don't pay much attention to author names, but once you mentioned that Ichi the Witch is written by the same mangaka as Iruma-Kun it clicked why I love it so much. Iruma is one of my favorite currently running series, so I'm glad I can read another series by a writer I adore so much.
Love the blender models. Such a clean look
The way you showcase the manga and the model is actually pretty smart and entrataining. It's a really charming shelf
the production of the video was reall good! thanks for the video!
Enjoyed this! One a year please :) I made myself a spreadsheet of every issue of Jump and its contents last year. It's a fascinating tapestry.
Incredible video, the blender touch and your unique perspective made this a wonderful Jump overview to watch/listen to! 🥳🥳
really loved this video concept! the animation and such was really satisfying haha. you should totally consider making it a series and cover other anime magazines. hopefully both shonen and shojo!
Shout outs to all us Undead Unluck fans, one of the most underrated manga of the last 5 years also ending in 2024 on a high note (if not a slightly quick note). Now it's on to new books.
Love the 3D work you've done!
I just stumbled into your channel and this is was exactly what I needed to get back into jump series, amazing video.
this was awesome! I agree with others in the comments, I would love to see more videos like this examining other manga magazines. Specifically I'd love a jump+ video because they have put out some actual BANGERS in the last few years and I'd love to know what else they're up to.
I love this kind video, so many comments asked where is Dandadan, Jojo, CSM and series outside Shueisha.
I genuinely believe once it gets an anime, Ruri Dragon could be one of Jumps next biggest series. It has a strong premise, incredibly good slice of life writing, a unique and fun art style, and while it is a slow burn at the moment it is building a pretty interesting fantasy world and take on dragons. I dont want the series to ever fully stray from its slice of life routes, but i do think it will be interesting when more of the fantasy begins to interact with Ruri's reality.
This video was great! It was super cool to have a recap and remember just what exactly is in SJ at the moment, and of course the presentation was top notch. Thank you! As a suggestion, if you ever plan on doing a sequel I think a yearly video in the matter could be cool. Of course covering other mangas is also great but honestly I feel like no other magazine has enough famous manga to justify a video of it's own, so maybe mashing together magazines might be a good idea, like a video about currently running and popular seinen manga. I just feel like the idea of going through what's going on at the moment is a pretty interesting idea.
I know people might disagree with me but... I think Kagurabachi and Ichi the Witch are without a doubt the 2 best manga running im the magazine right now. While I look forward to other series those two are what make me grab my tablet first thing in the morning every sunday. I have no doubt these 2 series are gonna be two of SJ's biggest hits in the next couple of years. Edit: I think you also forgot to mention one of the most impressive achievements of Ichi the Witch. It achieved #1 in an issue within it's first 10 chapters.
25:26 Those katakana sfx looking like music notes is actually genius
Really nice, I like the models too! Matsui is actually the only Jump mangaka to have published 3 different series with 180 or more chapters.
Akane banashi is so peak Elite sports shonen with a great and charismatic mc
very well made video! the modeling really added to the video. I'm someone who'd typically have this sort of video on in the background while looking at/doing smth else, but the pace and content of the visuals made it consistently and pleasantly engaging! barely felt like 26 minutes passed at all. good job!
