Honestly the fact that the baby was thrown in a dumpster and was found alive by people dumpster diving is incredible.
This happened in the town I stay in. What's really messed up is the girl who found the baby was arrested for a traffic warrant and was held in lock up longer than the person who tossed her own baby in the trash. The girl who tossed the baby in the dumpster was out of jail within 24 hours. How sickening is that?
“ If the babies OK, I want it.“ That is the most offensive thing she could possibly have said. She has no right to even say something like that. That line really pissed me off.
The mother throws her baby into the garbage and yet the father has to fight in court for custody. Why? The mother should automatically lose any and all custody rights
The fact that the woman who was holding that baby after they found him in the dumpster only had him for a few seconds and took better care of him and showed him more love than his own mother is just tragic. Thank God they found him before it was too late
If you see the full footage, she didn't "put" him in the dumpster, she THREW him in the dumpster. She didn't look back. She only felt pity for herself. Baby is well and lives with the father now.
I love how she keeps reiterating she just turned 18, like she is a helpless child who is a baby, but her baby IS A HELPLESS CHILD!!!! And she threw her in the trash.
for anyone who needs to hear this, IF YOU ARE IN THE USA, BABIES CAN SAFELY BE RELINQUISHED AT ANY HOSPITAL, FIRE STATION, POLICE STATION NO QUESTIONS ASKED. IF YOU ARE IN THE USA, BABIES CAN SAFELY BE RELINQUISHED AT ANY HOSPITAL, FIRE STATION, POLICE STATION NO QUESTIONS ASKED. just wanted to say it twice. bc there literally is no reason to not know that.
The father of the baby named him Saul which means “asked/prayed for”. I’m glad the baby survived and is being taken care of.
Her mom said: "Everyone makes mistakes" Wow! Now I see where Alexis gets her casual attitude toward throwing babies away in dumpsters.
"If the babies okay I want it" That officially broke my heart.
The footage of her throwing away her baby legitimately like yesterday’s garbage makes me sick. Even with it blurred the absolute disregard for her child is so clear.
April went into immediate action. Straight into Mamma Bear mode. Look how loving she is towards that baby rubbing his little head, talking to him, etc. She was probably traumatized by this but good on her for saving that baby.
what makes this even more upsetting is that she could have left him at any police station, fire station, or hospital with no questions asked. and she still chose to throw him away.
I don't know exactly what it is, but her voice- the way she talks just gets under my skin
The dark and nauseating irony of Alexis asking if her mother can come into the interrogation room / requesting some sort of comfort from her own mother’s presence. I’m sure the newborn wanted comfort from his mother, too. Edit: This reply section taught me that people will argue about literally anything. Tread carefully, fellow comment scroller.
I'ma say it: Massive shout-out to the dumpster divers for saving that little bundle! April Meadow, Hector Jusso, and Michael Green deserve all the praise they can get. Their names deserve remembering. The loser who put the baby in that dumpster? Forget her.
Those “dumpster divers” are heroes (there you go, the spelling is fixed now). What the hell is wrong with people that will dispose of a child like that.
It's infuriating to see how she threw that baby like he was trash but she's talking to the cop like she's some innocent little kid who didn't know any better. The fact that her mom downplayed the incident proves they are all terrible people.
