I’ve only killed the Overseer with the tek suit and shotty, but that would require killing the Alpha Dragon to unlock the chest/jetpack. I was scared of the Tek cave/Overseer, so I killed all three levels of the other bosses before even trying Gamma Overseer. lol Now that you know the strat to turn the dragon breath away from the crocs, it might be worth a shot, but the alpha adds could be a nasty little problem to deal with. A butt-ton of Extinguisher Grenades might be a way to go also. Anyhow, I think minimizing the fire breath damage would keep the crocs alive. They didn’t seem to take THAT much melee damage from the dragon, it was all that percentage based fire damage that got them. Oh yeah, since you jump off and melee, I’d leave Bertha at home and ride the Ceratosaurus. Edit: And GREAT job! BTW, I’m not trying to sound like a know it all, with advice. The stuff above is based off what I observed from watching your badarse fight.

Good morning brother Phlinger and Happy Monday! Or at least as happy as a Monday is capable of being! Full clinch mode overdrive engaged! Now I just have to hope that I can manage to unclinch sometime here in the next few hours!! 😮 I won’t go so far as to declare it a flawless victory, but it was most certainly an impressive victory despite a few losses.

I hate to put this pressure on you, but as I’ve pointed out before. The challenge is how far can we go. It ain’t over. Wipe yourself off, dust the saddle on Dr, and get out there and do it again. I would like to know how the rules are once you ascend, do you get to pick 5 new on the next map? Cause doing this map is obviously doable. The dragon was the big hurdle. Hope you keep going, the challenge ain’t done bud.

If you can, maybe grind up gamma monkey for the element you need for a full tek set, and do the old jet and shotgun strat against the overseer

I honestly didn't think you'd be able to get this far, I guess it had to end sometime but that was a hoot to watch (as has been the whole challenge from start to fin). Is it the end though? Farming for saddles is a must, added to a much higher hitpoint-max-health per next fresh dinos (each 30k minimum - hoping you've a female croc, if not tame a new one). You'll need a decent pumpaction shotgun to make up for the lost dps your dinos now have with their less points in melee.

I've watched videos of people doing the overseer w/o any dinos, use take armor, fly above it all and shutgunning.
