Ive had mine bout 4 years..started with a 465 cam in my 107..went to a 124 with a 22xe..135 horse 150 torque..this pipe will work with anything you throw at it i think.

My S&S MK45's were the same with the sound. Quiet with no load on the engine then opened up and got loud with a load. I might put these on my 23.5 CVO.

Very happy with mine, the decel sound seemed wrong, but glad to hear its just normal for this exhaust, did you notice extra vibration around 3k rpm?

Actually, you lose hp with full length, you do gain torque though. Shorter is better for hp
