Sounds like a flashy new name for price gouging, Something that used to be a bad thing, but since COVID and the supply chain disruption has been viewed as a smart business practice, wrong will always be wrong, looks like businesses will have to learn honestly in business all over again, and the new American consumer will surely teach them.
Surge explained by RIDER.... I travel to and from Airport 3 times a month. Normally ~ $75 for 44 mile ride. During surge the "algorithm" charges $130-$150!! NO TIP DURING SURGE that's my algorithm working.

Uber has never been able to generate profits.
9 minutes of video covering 3 sentences of text that are written on Uber website. Come on man you can do better. Tell use something useful, for example how is the base or minimum price determined, because I am sure price can not be 0 even if the supply is through the roof.
