As an American, I really respect the Koreans for developing their own modern platform instead of just buying the F-35. That's a huge undertaking... I hope it works out well for them.

This is a very good jet fighter. I spent my year in Korea in and near the DMZ in 77. From then to now, S.Korea has moved light years ahead. Nothing less than phenomenal. I liked S.Korea a lot, I still think about those I met and spent time with there. I still have kimchi in my blood.

The chief developer for the F-22 was KOREAN American. She have inside technology to South Korea in order to and in building the Kf-21 which resembles the aircraft’s likeness to the F-22 and even referred to as the “little raptor”

You have to give the South Koreans a lot of respect. Their country has come a very long way since the Korean War. They’ve become a First World power with the help of the United States but made it their own through forward thinking and innovations. They didn’t brag about this particular aircraft and call it a 5th generation fighter like China did with their Junk-20, but I would go on to bet that the KF-21 has better sensors and avionics that they’ve studied, tested and developed through the years and an RCS equal to if not smaller than the Junk-20. Way to go South Korea 🇰🇷!

We should probably buy these instead of new F-15‘s. We do need to replace our F-15s and F-16, But we need to replace them with aircraft that are more suitable.

I think it's a beautiful machine. South Korea is an innovator. They applied what they have learned and developed a solid machine.

Korea has nothing to fear from China, China isn't the one currently occupying S.Korea soil or interfering in S.Korea domestic political system. No one can say otherwise about Korea's "ally" though.

I have to laugh at all the comments that say "china copied the f35/f22" and that its "junk,inferior or built to lesser quality" to them... All i will say is do a quick google search lol both of these planes are badly flawed aircraft from pilot oxygen/ canin pressure issues, software issues,guns not only innacurate but the use of which causing stress to the air frame, handling/manuvering issues at angles of attack f35 incapable of sustained supersonic speed because of weakness in the tail and fear of it breaking so only short burst not to mention turning aggressivly using afterburners the tail starts to melt and neither can fly in the rain LOL. Wit the J20 not suffering from any of the above problems. Typical US equipment it all sounds good on paper! But underperforms.

KF-21 being 4.5 gen and they want 120 by 2032. China already has over 300 J20s, 350 J16s and 500 J11s. It's just stupid to call it a "China killer".
