I hope Steve is right about Max Soup - I have so many regular Gengar and Starter mons that I've invested a lot of time, candy and stardust into. I would love to be able to Gigantimax them the same way we were able to mega evolve them. I would not mind grinding more max energy if it meant I could keep developing Pokémon I already own.
Love the fact that they let us search for illustrations done by artists in pocket! learn something new everyday
You CAN use your Plus+ while charging it, you just have to connect it to your device before setting it to charge. Before I started putting a reminder on my phone to charge it every 3 days, I would have several community days where I’d charge my device for the 20 minutes before leaving the house, remove from charger, connect to bluetooth, then connect Plus+ to external battery pack
I love this podcast this podcast got me into Pokémon and i it help me cope. Thank you guys
I live in a town of around 40k people I am the CA for. Not quite a city but a reasonably large town. It took some coordination and engagement with the feature but we had no issues taking down as many Gengar as people wanted. Additionally, people are really liking this feature overall. The increase in strategy and coordination a lot of people are enjoying! So far I really like Gmax raids.
1:30:36 Steve out of context: "I don't like Cramorant, I have no desire to spend the $40 on a Cramarant skin"
I would love to go out and raid for G-Max Pokémon but I'm not aware of any local groups who coordinate that kind of thing. Sometimes I can remote raid into things but that isn't the case with dynamax. I have some powered up dynamax guys ready to go-- I just need people to play with :(
Just so you're aware, I have not seen the podcast episodes (or any other videos you've posted) have not shown up in my subscription list for a couple weeks now. I'll go check out your Terastal maze video now!
I was pleasently surprised to see a bunch of Metagross for Gengar, then I saw a Charmander and Skwovet in my lobby
53:16 The moment Steve knew it was over lol
A Pokémon Snap would actually be really cool. I need it now haha
Long time listener, first time viewer. I am not sure what I pictured you all looking like lol.
It's funny. I started the game last night, played for 30 minutes. But with so many menus, I didn't accumulate enough experience to battle and just walked away until the 12 hour timer was up. My second log in, I realized there was just enough content buried in the game to have gotten to AI games the whole time.
Live in a remote town in Japan where there are some players but Japanese people are pretty shy and don’t really like playing in groups. Most people turn up in cars do the raid and then go home. There is no community that I know of so arranging 20 people to get together and do a Gmax is pretty impossible. Not really a good move for Niantic’s 2nd biggest market of players. 🤔
We did GMax Gengar with 19, 18, and 12. Only 5 of the 12 had Gmax starters.
If nothing else, the catches for this kind of challenge should be guaranteed. I haven't beaten a G-Max (yet, I guess, and YES, I fully evolve my Dynamon and unlocked Guard and Spirit), but if it runs away when I try to catch it, I could quit the game for about a year.
Sleep is dead, shave your head! Pockets where all the real fans at!
You can't imagine how expensive tcg pocket is in LATAM bc they did direct money conversion+taxes without localizing the prices. It's going to be hard to support the game in Brazil, for example.
I am recording. Bah bah bah
