@mistermood4164

keep in mind that there are over 80 Chinese automakers at the moment, this is simply the beginning of the consolidation phase in china, there will probably be about 5-7 Chinese brands when its all said and done.

@breft3416

Time to hit the history books, fellas. In 1908 there was 253 car manufacturers in the USA, 44 in 1929 and the big 3 in 1960. The shake out will be faster today because of technology. Plus, there's 1.5 billion people in China. There are countries that aren't tariffing them out of the market. They aren't dedicated to stock buybacks and exhorbitant executive compensation. You can fuss with numbers all you want, but they won't mean much until after the shake out.

I'm favoured, Getting my own Truck has always been my Dream for my business. I just acquired 2 recently, earning $72,000 weekly has been really helpful. I can now give back to the locals in my community and also support Charity Organizations.

@davefroman4700

If I had a dollar for every time the western pundits screamed the "Chinese economy is collapsing" ? I could buy a BYD.

@PotatoAQH

Companies pay their Suppliers that late there because they can. Suppliers can get paid in 3-12 month. It is not abnormal. It is brutal the Chinese OEM environment. Too much competition. Personally, I did business with some suppliers and agents there. They reply messages and 24/7, their factories run 24/7 and they were fast.

@vincentxu4745

This is a well-known practice in China. BYD is just squeezing the small suppliers.

@jkimo11

Jeff just might start billing Farzad and Herbert for his time :-). He's so good.

@k54dhKJFGiht

Thanks for the TRUTH! Sadly, US Legacy Media can't be bothered to do their job by informing us about this.

@dr-k1667

Jeff's lesson on supply chain and other topics is so insightful. Great having him on the channel Farzad!

@steveaustin8817

Guys, love your work. I've visited China many times and was interviewed to be CEO for a plastic mftring co selling to the auto industry. This was 8-9 years ago - and this client told me that they never got paid by auto makers in less than about 8 months. Big Chinese companies regularly withhold pay to suppliers -its widespread. Thats one big reason I did not take the job. Terrible working environment where the big guys push around the small suppliers.

@한봉지LimMingyu

Once Elon Musk's XtraChain passes $1, it may NEVER see that low again

@WooGeunHyewon

Elon Musk is a genius for creating XtraChain, it's going to revolutionize the industry

@JangJunwoo_95

First Elon bought X and now he launched the XtraChain token this year is crazy

@koenraad4618

The Chinese supply chains of parts are 'mysterious' (lots of "I don't knows" in this interview), I assume these are super efficient. The fact that we don't know all the value checks and balances of the supply chains does not mean the Chinese economy is a hoax. Suggesting it is a hoax ("I don't know") does not explain the rise of the Chinese EV industry. False mystifications always smells like narcissism.

@ksairman

Nope, they are operating on cash flow not profit.

@Squiddledorf

Everyone mentioning XtraChain in this comment section has a Chinese name, Chinese profile picture and when you look on their profile, ALL of them joined Youtube between 1-3 weeks ago and they all have 0 subscribers.

@Hurricanemarty

Couldn’t find any data on these claims

@OhSeunghyun

I think XtraChain will go to the moon in a couple months

@sunburnfm

It's not unusual for suppliers to wait a very long time in China to be paid, no matter the company. 90 days is actually unusual. A year is normal.

@finned958

BYD has record deliveries though. Dealers usually pay for the cars regardless if owners have taken delivery. Something is wrong with how Chinese manufacturers are just dumping their cars in foreign countries.
