I don't suppose you can control it, but the warning crawler at the bottom of the screen...anyone with vision problems is going to have a very difficult time reading it with the white lettering against a light background (NOT ENOUGH CONTRAST)! Best would be black lettering against a white background (or vice versa) or dark blue against a white background or, again, vice versa.

@SammyMaggio

The most insane 5% risk ever? Praying for no casualties. That Imogene/Essex tornado was horrific on radar.

Omaha here. Many tornadoes formed but a few didn't touch down. The one that started over Tabor Iowa was scary. Two at one time. My daughter and family just moved from tabor to omaha.

1:05:11 windshield related weather is important to have a plexiglass layer cover the windshield when you are in a hailstorm.

I had a big laugh when you said that the one place you wonโ€™t be talking about is Clarksville TN ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

I am in the northeast corner of Indiana. 8 miles from the Michigan line. Ten minutes ago we had quarter size Hail.

You pinpointed exactly as I was when I was hearing some scary stuff.
I'm thankful that the house is standing.
Pierce Creek and 140th. I certainly know where that is!

@xaninuax

Well that was...a storm for sure.

@prodcxzzi

@1:32:36 there's twin tornadoes when the lightning flashes. (Use the arrow keys to move back and forth)

@lindanitzschke1315

Never count that part of NE out. I used to head that way when heading back to my NW Iowa hometown (from Colorado), but start heading north when I hit Grand Island, and already there I would see so many trees that had been hit by tornadoes all the time.

@maudieg8459

Amazing weather you folks down below are having. Makes me better appreciate the absence of severe weather here in northern Wisconsin. At least, so far... I pray you folks suffering from severe rain, wind, tornadoes, will get relief soon. This has to be the worst spring weather in your area in many decades.

@JBullock54

For those that donโ€™t know.. there wasnโ€™t a 5 % chance of a tornado happening anywhere in the risk area yesterday. There was a 5-9 % chance of a tornado happening within 25 miles of any given location in the risk area. While yesterday surpassed expectations, I can think of a few times going back to 2023 where weโ€™ve seen some BOOM days on a 5% risk day, especially in the plains.
