Poor Susan Maxwell & Caroline Hogg, i clearly remember their murders being all over the news at the time. I was 12 and played for a boys football team not far from Portobello in Edinburgh. My parents were extremely paranoid and tentative about letting me go alone on the 20 mile bus journey to get to training and play matches. It ended with them strongly suggesting that i trial for a team a bit closer to home. They were worried, the whole country was. He is a stain on Scotland's name. RIP Caroline Hogg, Susan Maxwell and the other wee girls who fell victim to this monster.
