If you massage the sesame paste package for about 4 to 5 minutes, it helps to soften the hardened paste and mixes it back in with the oil. I think on the next package I am going to put the sesame pack into warm water and see if that helps.
I tried the original noodles and definitely had to jazz up the sauce, but love the noodle texture as well. I also share Trader Joe hauls and grocery shopping and I like your style of combining cooking, and shopping! You've a new subscriber!
Are these noodles vegan friendly like the noodles and sauce packs
You inspired me to try this brand of noodles. I plan to use Costco's rotisserie chicken breast and add some asparagus tips. I think mixing the spice packets in a pot and adding the noodles/veggies/chicken on top, then mixing everything in the pot before transferring it into a bowl would be easier. Package noodles are good for a quick meal (not crazy about the sodium)...so many different protein and veggie possibilities to dress it up.
These are really good.
The first time I made it exactly like the directions on the bag, and thought it was just meh. It definitely needs to be doctored to be good. I like to add chili oil, fresh toppings like green onions and cilantro, and maybe a fried egg or some other type of protein that I have sitting in the fridge. If I’m not too lazy then I’ll make some crispy fried shallots to add taste and texture too.
ooooo I'm so excited to try these, I just got some from TJ's. Once i am fully recovered from pulling my wisdom teeth, I will try them.
This is my current hyper fixation food
I heard the sauce is still tasteless
where is the bowl from?
700mg sodium!!
I like the noodles, but thought the sauce was meh. It was hard to mix and I had clumps. I'm gonna throw some Budak sauce on it next time.
