you need to carry co2 and dynaplug for big holes for emergencies.. i never had a flat with tubeless so far in 10k km, you maybe just had too little sealant in the tyre. and some sealant just isnt great. had 7 micro holes that didnt seal 100% with dynamic barkeeper when i first setup tubeless and tune one shot sealed them all instantly. always use a little more then it says. i got 100ml in 42mm tyre and zero problems on roads that i had a lot of flats with tubes before.

Mechanicals during winder cant be nice, glad you kept cheerful and motivated with that flat. The group ride looked great and you had a good number attend.
