I have observed that tailscale switches from a "direct" connection to "relay" when i am using cellular, this slows things down a great deal. Do you know any workarounds? Great tutorial!

Oh that's nifty there. I didn't even know Cloudflare would let you block access like that. While that's not what I would want generally for my exposed services it would be useful for things like VTTs and I'm curious if it would be useful for something like a game server. Either way.. learned a little bit and that's just swell.

Hey, I bought myself a Dell optiplex 3050mt and I want to use it as a server for my photos with immich. I really like your channel and I wanted to ask you if you can clarify which of your videos do or should I watch to understand how to setup immich and enable it to upload videos from outside my wifi network. You have multiple videos on immich setup and I´m not sure if its enough for me to watch "Immich setup in 5 minutes" together with " The BEST way to access Immich from anywhere!" or do I need to watch other videos too? I also wanted to ask if you think if linux is the correct choice for my dell optiplex that I only want to use as a server for photos or should I rather use Windows?

Great Video!!! I was able to get my immich instance running under truenas set up with a cloudflared tunnel by following your guide. Thank you! BTW - If you restrict the app to just your username, won't that prevent other users from accessing your shared pics when you generate a link? (If I want to send Grandma a link to the album of baby pics, she won't be able to access them because of the cloudflare access rule, right?)

Thanks, this works great from a desktop! When I enable the Cloudflare access portal (14:11) however, the mobile app is unable to connect (Server is not reachable), presumably because it can't do the OAuth login. Is there a way around that?
