A better title for this video might be, "Can you imagine life without technical support specialists?" While it's true that system administrators often get coerced into providing tech support services, system administrators are people who configure and maintain file servers and associated network infrastructure. To put this it terms of the TV show "IT Crowd," Roy & Moss are the technical support specialists (the guys who would help the people in this clip) and Richmond would be the system administrator, because despite his ignorance of how the server works he's in charge of the server.

This video is so funny and at the same time you can meet some situation like that in your career if you are a system administrator. One time I had a call at the university that I was working as an assistant. The problem was one of the professor's computer wasn't turning on. And I went to check it. Surprisingly what I saw was the cable was not connected to the wall power outlet:))))

I thought people were only clueless where I work, but as I watch more and more videos I'm learning that what I see from our users is common place and is the typical experience no matter where you go. One morning I got a phone call where the user was reporting her computer wasn't working, that it was broken. I went next door... and her monitor was turned off. /facepalm
