I've had a 10 % rating for GERD for 20 years. Never tried to increase. My Va doctor wants me to put in claim for GERD since I was rated on the hiatal hernia. He thinks I deserve an increase. Thoughts. I'm experiencing IBS also trying to get diagnosis will claim it secondary to gerd. I was deployed to Uzbekistan 2002 and developed IBS symptoms after returning. Should I do initial claim for IBS as presumptive pact act?
