I like the fact that blender tutorials are also usually made using a donut.

@tenprinthello8127

As a Blender user, I salute your choice of a donut as your first workpiece.

@tanvaras9961

36 years coding, but I look at pixel art and my brain goes to mush. This has helped a ton for my personal project I been developing, as I been using place holder circles and squares as pixel art due to having zero confidence. Shall be utilizing your channel a lot with all the good information you have on pixel art. Thanks for the Youtubes!

@dandmwg

If the symmetry options aren't showing for you like they are at 10:00, click 'View' then click 'Symmetry options'

@JWW_is_cool

I am a senior from Taiwan
Although I am not major in department of art, have no painting basic, but I really like pixel art so much and would like to try it
And recently I start to practice with Aseprite
Your tutorial video really helps me a lot, thanks so much!

@NaysayersGonnaNaysay

This is without a doubt one of, if not, THE BEST tutorial video I've ever come across. No nonsense filler, or hand holding. Just quick and thorough explanation allowing the viewer to pause and jump back at their own pace. The density is so refreshing. Pls make a tutorial for everything in existence. Fantastic teaching style dude. Subbed.

@AmodeusR

Why is no one talking about the donut boss?

 He is pretty funny, and his voice has a really nice effect xD Really great addition to the tutorial, I hope we can see him again around xD

@ties_s

I just got Aseprite for a project I'm working on, but getting familiar with the UI can be difficult in some cases. This tutorial summed up basically everything I needed to get started with pixel art. Massive respect

@Rufiowascool

If your symmetry options aren't showing, go into the view menu to activate them.

@goosetown-47

This was one of the best lessons for doing pixel art ever. As a newbie, I'd really like to see more of these types of learn how to do art and pixel from scratch for beginners. I'd contribute to a patreon for this type of content.

@mr_clean575

This was a fantastic tutorial. Covered all of the basics, then gradually expanded into more complex ideas. Covered best practices, industry lingo, and common problems that people experience. All presented in a clean, clear, and fun donut-filled experience.

@saultoons

You ask and you shall receive... Sometimes. Here's the Aseprite Tutorial! There's also some Challenges in there for more experienced pixel artists, check out the TIMESTAMPS!

I have also opened a Patreon if you want to support the channel please consider checking it out - https://www.patreon.com/saultoons šŸ˜€

Hope you enjoy the video and learn something new!

@dswolf9421

10 ish years using paint tool sai and i go to aesprite and it feels like I just started drawing. The pacing and little story you used to help teach made this SOOOO EASY. oml thanks so much for the tutorial!

@glen_codes

Apologies if this has already been mentioned, and it might be really obvious but if you're a compete beginner (like me) in the very final step when you go to export, unless you group your layers together, its going to complain it doesn't support png when you try to export just layers on their own. When I was able to group them all together, the export worked without any problems. Great tutorial, really enjoyed it ! 😊

@giftoffire4868

This is one of the top three best art program tutorials I have ever encountered. You, sir, are an excellent teacher. The pace of the video and order of introduction of topics make it very easy to follow and learn the material. Thanks so much for this video.

@CaleoGaming

This right here made me go and buy Aseprite. Thank you so much for this video, very informative and straight to the point! :)

@CHICKENGOD-vf5xy

I am a game art major in my freshman year of college with no pixel art experience. I wanted aseprite to expand my art style and getting it was a bit overwhelming. Thank you so so so much for creating such a easy to follow tutorial. I will definitely be watching your other ones too 🄰

@franciscoignaciopetrone5679

This is what I actually believe is Content Creator and not some weird stuff on the net..

Thank you, I actually started today doing Pixel Art research because of this video which appeared as one of the best for beginners!

Thank you again! :)

@mesmodev

Hey! I really love your tutorials and your cartoonish style! Please keep it up :)

@Wood-2D

I watched this video yesterday and made me really consider getting aesprite. Now I’m finally able to follow along with the same tools in aesprite! Donut time >B]
