@marciaperry147

So interesting to see what goes on while you are storm chasing!Β
I always hope the cows, horses etc. escaped the storm unharmed.

@savageratentertainment

fun fact, most cows and horses who are allowed to roam outside, are normally unharmed and only really end up with a few wounds from hail which can be helped via a vet.
I searched last night really what happens to them like that. Seeing how they're outside.
turns out Farmers WANT them to be out in a big pasture because they'll have higher chances of survival because they can run, animals know to run away. Especially horses who can move it. If they're stuck in a barn, they have more chances of dying then they do outside.

at first I thought they'd have more of a chance of inury outside
but it turns out more inside then outside. they don't want to trap them in
so if a farmer has a huge pasture, they'll let them roam out and then afterwards have their dog to call them back in to have them checked

pretty interesting.

@WanderingRoe

Amazing, scary storm! The scale is staggering, you drive toward it and yet it doesn't seem to be getting any nearer.
And there's something iconic about seeing a herd of cattle with a tornado in the background. XD

@cnmnnaturalist

Cows, a stunning supercell and the sound of Meadowlarks singing. As Great Plains as it gets!

@calgarytek

'Your approaching a twisting storm. Please exercise caution'

So, like, how difficult is it to say tornado?

Excellent footage!

@obsidianwing

This Livestream was Crazy , very unexpected i remeber the large Hailstones that day. The Dammit - Dimmit Tornado is something for the Chasebooks

@FallenMuse81

I got married 2 weeks after this happened and let me tell you that was the most stressful two weeks of my life it stormed the night before and we had to have an official hat catcher to catch my husband's cowboy hat because the winds were so high.

@catherinekamoen6685

Reid does not remain calm this bloke is a lot more chilled

@rhino4me887

Love your stuff Daniel! A minor request from a fan?.... Any chance you can move the Red Banner advertising your website to the bottom of your videos? The banner is covering "the sky" where we, your fellow storm fanatics, are all watching.
Amazing Amazing work. Thank you and BE SAFE!

@yorktonstormhunter

Love it !!!!!

@BB1951

The cows and livestock are not impressed. Moo. Eh...

@TheSalient0ne

@mairi2w2

I gotta go, Julia...

@BriONeil

They were asking you for help.

@2dogsmowing

I'm new to watching your videos.
That was great about saying something to that other guy about the tornado behind him. An the not waiting for the cows.
Finally someone with common sense. Lol
(But of course they have to be from a different country. Lol)

Yes folks, the cows will move out of your way.
Very simple minded creatures. πŸ˜‰

Stay safe my friend.
