Agree. My trajectory was Data Analyst (1.5 years) —> Data Engineer (3 years) —> Machine Learning Engineer (currently at 2 years). My salary trajectory was (Data Analyst)$65k —> $68k —> (Data Engineer) $80k —> $83k —> $90k —> (Machine Learning Engineer) $110k —> $115k (current)
