SCRUM is not agile. It prioritizes processes (e.g Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Retro, etc...) while the Agile Manifesto states the definition of "Agile" to be "prioritizing people over processes"

- Agile is all about what to do and people centric 
- Scrum is all about how to do and when to do
- Waterfall is also what to do but process centric .

Agile and waterfall are methodologies. Scrum is framework which sets the boundaries for agile and waterfall methodologies.

Since agile Values and principles are best to fit in Scrum framework (or kanban), Waterfall methodologies took backseat 😂 .
