Perfect. I like the easy adjustability with the allen wrench. I can adjust it without getting off the mower.

Glad to find this, my 2024 right side drive is way faster. I had to put the screw in nearly 5 turns to even them out, then the machine was slow. I saw the arm at the back but thought if I did that, then when you reverse it will be slightly slower since the arm is now longer. I assume on the Hydro that post denotes max forward and reverse travel, in my machine full forward still has about 1/8-3/16 of room before the plate would hit the rod, same in reverse. Its my frame knockout that limits me. I thought if I increased that slot in reverse I could make it max speed in both directions and use the bolt to slow down in forward. Right now I have done all I can to speed up the left without doing that, but it means my machine on flat pavement only does about 5mph. I have a few hills and I'd like all the umph I can get. I guess I am just hoping that plate on the transmission with its post denotes the max forward and reverse speed they want to limit it too, and I will adjust within that to get the most out I can.

Now for deck leveling the z master 4000 with my ride and electric deck lift ❤

What do you use to adjust the sping over coils to adjust the ride

@tylerdurham9679

So this may be a dumb question but does engine rpm effect the strength of the transmission?

@andreabond3501

What about on a Stander?

The last way is best in my opinion, so the hydros are matched. The first two ways aren’t really fixing the issue, which are mismatched hydros. If you do the second option, then your handles won’t match. If you do then do the first option to make the handles straight when forward, they won’t match in reverse. Adjusting the speed on hydros is the correct and best way. It’s not difficult at all as the video shows. Just correct the fast side a couple of turns at a time. Keep testing and adjusting until it tracks straight. But before making ANY changes regardless of the methods you do, make sure all of the tires are properly inflated. Just a pound or so off on one tire can make a difference.
