Worry about politicians and the mega-rich who will use AI against the common people.
Meanwhile I'm still waiting for AI to figure out how many "R"s there are in "strawberry"
Since you’re on YouTube how about uploading to your podcasts to YouTube instead of posting podcast advertisements
0:39 Clippy is back, folks! :)
Every one of those three situation was dealt with by SF more than fifty years ago. Nothing worse than listing to some pompous tech bro pontificate when a couple of John Sladek paperbacks and some Star Trek episodes took care of it before they were even born. Grumpy old man here.
‘I thought she was my friend, then she was at my door demanding ten grand’
Of course we should be worried. That's not even a question
Gen Z trying explain AI 😭
There is no such thing as a "greatest minds in AI" in 2025. They all have the exact same thoughts and ideas as Isaac Asimov did 70 years ago.
Yeah, we're opening Pandora's box at a rate we might not be ready for. Regulation is needed asap.
I only understand train station 😊
I, for one, welcome our metal kin
Personally think AI is gonna go the way of the Metaverse
What we have now is not AI, it's just programs regurgitating stuff found online
i,Robot
A best case scenario with a super intelligence Ai - the intellectual challenge of helping humanity, because it's such a difficult problem that can never be perfected. It's the flip side of the Matrix's issues with simulating a utopia for their humans.... how do you make humanity "happy" and help it prosper ? (in the real world, not a simulation). Trying to provide for the largest percentage, while preventing humans from destroying each other. And just the illogical ways we act and think and the weird stuff we come up with .... We might even come up with ideas that still surprise a super intelligence (the O'Neil factor). The Ai realises that without humans around messing up themselves and their surroundings, it might find existence boring. We're the ultimate Sims game.
Just ask ai
wow
