Love to use the salt with watercolor to creat a beautiful snow effect. Try it you'll love the look once it is completed dry. Let it dry slowly on it's own the salt cause a crystal look. Once dry then brush off the salt. Happy painting ποΈ
In batik we would sprinkle salt to make the dyes react similarly
Gorgeous watercolour painting effects
This was the best, quickest, and most useful way of describing these! Thank you!
can we see what these look like once dry ?? sometimes watercolor looks different after it dries especially when the technique has the color slowly moving /bleeding on the page it doesnt look the same when the paint first hits the page (wet) to when its dry ..
Very new to watercolor! Going to use that salt trick for sureπβοΈ
I love the bloom technique! I just do bloom and make my page all rainbow then draw something on it! It's so pretty istg
I'm so glad I started following you. I just began my watercoloring journey, but I have already learned many new things and dared to experiment bc of you! You make it very accessible and I'm excited to see where this journey will lead me (:
I would also add plastic wrap crinkled up. Add to your wet paint, let dry and remove after your paper is completely dry.
These are all so lovely!
Spray one looks cool π€©π
Just found you and I have to try this! I'm not fond of using WC, so I think I'll try pencil and acrylic.
Thank you for these tips!
