When you said, "Don't just be a passive consumer watching YouTube videos or playing video games all day...just think of an original thought" that weirdly struck a cord with me. For the past few years while I've been in college I have been outlining the story for games or comics I want to make in the future. One thing I find myself doing constantly doing as I think about these stories, is analyzing the narrative and dissecting it's themes.
Mostly cause as I grew up I realized the media I loved as a kid and stuck with me the most because they all had something to say, even if I wasn't aware at the time. I want to do that for others but in order for that to happen I need to make sure the stories have enough depth.
As much as this process has been hard for my big old stupid brain, its incredibly satisfying when I explain what I have come with so far to my friends and seeing how excited they are for it.

My man, I am 20 and burnt out on everything. Dreams and aspirations have dried up and I don't feel passion towards anything I do, I want to feel that drive again for anything but without out it it is hard to grow as a person.
But hopefully something will come along, and nice vid by the way! I am looking forward to the series.

@SomeRanDev

I would call the protagonist a clown, but even a clown would've been there to witness Tony's epic accomplishments smh

@Eeeg_yea

Most games that "change one's views on life" have a bigger focus on story (for me it was FF9). It's rare for a game to accomplish the same thing through gameplay alone.

@bogomSwamp

Beeswing actually looks pretty interesting. It kind of reminds me of Johnny's story in the House of Leaves book. I might play it, who knows what I'll see?

@ArsArtemStudios

Oh hell yeah, welcome back!

@jokeymyguy

i liked when you pontificated "like when you adopt whatever a influencer says," some real self aware stuff there.

@slimehunter84

Thank you for sharing your love of weird indie games with us. I'm checking these games out right now.

- also thnx alot for answering my question in the chat :)

@bastiancu2365

It is true that we often lock ourselves into certain positions without attempting to compromise, but what do we do about those people?

We should keep growing, learning more and more and expanding our horizons as we progress into adulthood in order to create a better life for ourselves and those around us. But what do we do about those who choose to not move an inch? Are we expected to treat them the same way we treat those who share a vision of a brighter world?

How can we compromise with those who have stopped caring about life? I don't think we can, I think that in these cases there are no nuances, only harm.

I really liked this video, but this question annoys me.

While its not an indie game:
999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors

Is a fantastic visual novel game, a unique play which i really enjoyed playing and 100% recommend!
