The only way the ZEISS lens work is on a static subject. Totally unjustified in this day when the Canon RF 50 1.2 is AUTO FOCUS and is absolutely mind blowing.

@johnft8746

Jared: in regards to manual focus lenses you are wrong… the difference between the Zeiss manual focus and the electronic controlled MF on the other lenses is the accuracy mechanically… I won a couple of Milvus lenses and I love the way how they work - especially in studio environments when you really focus exactly where you want to focus and not let the algorithm decide where to focus…

@JukkaLamsa

I own Z6 III 🤗

@masterinico

The Nikon updates also brought “shutter angle” to the options in video recording which for many is a huge deal (not for me but, others)

@waveland

I shoot with the Z6III and was one of the early adopters who returned 3 of them in succession last year because of the N-Log problem (Log not RAW by the way). I had planned to have two of them for video work but ended up with Sony FX cameras instead. I later bought a Z6III as a stills backup camera and I used that to check the N-Log upgrade. The difference is significant with more shadow detail and maybe a bit more DR. Also for the video shooters they added shutter angle as an option for video. If this update of the camera had shipped last year, I doubt I would have made the switch to Sony.

4:19 "video in RAW"
This is so cute🥰

The intro is getting better and better...

@thedondeluxe6941

Zeiss is primarilly a cine lens company these days. These new Otus lenses are basically budget versions of their cine line. Video shooters still use manual focus a lot. There you go.
Oh, and reason for no L-mount; Leica exists.

@masterinico

6:29 1) Can’t wait to see how the 35 LAB turns out. I have their 85mm 1.8 and it’s pretty sharp and fast so I’m thinking good things are coming from Viltrox! but 2) USB-C rechargeable batteries from Smallrig, Viltrox, and Neewer are all great I use the EN-EL15c equivalent and they work fine in my Z8 (I’ve heard the Z6iii is still not 100% compatible). But being USB-C rechargeable literally can bring a powerbank and recharge them that way already and they charge much faster that way. So idk why they are making that weird charger thing.

@ZOB4

Those Zeiss lenses are priced in a ridiculous way.

@ShotsByNk

big fan from South Africa, just want to thank you for the updates, camera & lens review, advice, and mostly camera guides 🤟

@PBStudiosMediaGroup

I have a Z6iii and Z8

@brunogoncalvesvisuals

The llano NP-FZ100 already does wonders in my camera bag :D

@nealeblackburn6019

Love my Z6 iii as second body to my Z9 or D6 principal workhorses, but the rolling shutter is a little intrusive at times. Great for moments when the action is less frantic or side-on. Teamed with the 135mm f1.8, it's my weapon of choice for candids and portraits

@Lofote

Manual focus in your c and n lenses is not the same as on a manual lens, as the zeiss otus are mich more precise. Try it out first.

Nice purple toboggan!!

@joachimreiner7924

With the Zeiss lenses it is like with Canon colour science. Zeiss has a very unique three dimensional look and a very exact manual focus and the Canon colour science is something that you just get with Canon, incuded in cameras and lenses.

@GeoffKirby

I love my Z6iii and I use it along with my Z8 on a wedding day, as I use them in tandem. Could you please let me know why you're asking who has one? The Z6iii with the 50mm 1.2 or my 85mm 1.8 is killer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
