Should have kept the actress and the scene. Carol wasn’t even in the comic story of Infinity War. Introducing her in this manner would have been a way better option. The movie between infinity war and endgame should have been the Black Widow and Hawkeye movie explaining their past and it would have made her death that much more meaningful because we could have seen the relationship more between her and Clint. But Marvel lost most of the creativity at this point.

They should have kept her in i think one of the problem's they had was the way they introduced the character they seemed to forget that was how the mcu got to be this big by letting characters grow over time not by shoving them down ppl throats
