Today, you might know General Bakshi for his ferocious and aggressive stand against Pakistan, often seen debating passionately on national news channels. His words resonate with millions of Indians who admire his no-nonsense approach to national security and his deep knowledge of military history and strategy.

But behind this aggressive stance is a man who has an inspiring story, who is full of love and passion for his country and countrymen. A man who carries personal grief, the loss of his elder brother in the 1965 war and a family that stood by him through every mission. He led key operations like Operation Vijay, Operation Sarp Vinash, and multiple counter-terror missions in J&K, earning him the Vishisht Seva Medal, Sena Medal, and a Chief of Army Staff Commendation.
