1916年6月、山形県庁舎および山形県会議事堂をイギリス・ルネサンス様式を基調としたレンガ造りで建築した。
その後、国の重要文化財となる。

In June 1916, the Yamagata Prefectural Government Building and the Yamagata Prefectural Assembly Building were built with bricks based on the British Renaissance style.
After that, it became an important cultural property of the country.
