Light Model Railroad Buildings Easily with LEDs
In this video I describe how I light my N-scale buildings with small LEDs (light-emitting diodes). The circuits are simple, using only the diode, one resistor, and connecting wire. They require small DC power supplies on the order of 5 to 18 volts. the higher the voltage used, the higher the resistance value is needed because current must be limited to less than 20 mA. I give suggested resistance values in the video.
In the video, I give references to eBay ads where you can buy the LEDs and resistors for a few cents each.
