The event features a panel discussion focused on highlighting beauty industry leaders and influencers of color in Detroit. Speakers will share their story of how they got established in the beauty industry, discuss roadblocks to developing their brand, and critically analyze industry trends and beauty standards (both local/national) to assess where Detroit ranks as a national/global leader?

Speakers and attendees will also have a community conversation on how minority businesses can disrupt the market and shift demand to promote beauty brands that integrate racial equity and inclusion in their bottom line; and inclusive of beauty solutions for people of color.
