scripting FLD enemy with multiple death sequence ( pie 3d gcs v 1.13 dos )

first enemy was shot down, then gibbed with grenade.

second enemy caught fire by firebomb, on his knees burning

third enemy is shot down, dead body on the ground, I shoot over the dead body demonstrating it will no longer react to typical weapon, then dead body is caught fire by fire bomb.

I then returned to the second enemy on his knees burning, and shoot him dead now he's just a dead body on the ground.

then enemies 2 and 3, both are dead on the ground one in a puddle of blood and one dead body burning, I finished them off with a grenade gibbing the dead bodies..

I wish I got more into this there are some aspects of this animation that were not demonstrated. example Burning Man on his knees can be gibbed.. and although it's demonstrated in other videos standing man can be gibbed..

so standing, dead on the ground, or burning, or burning dead on the ground can be gibbed..

standing, or dead on the ground can be set fire to..

standing, burning on his knees, or burning on the ground can be shot.

so this FLD animated enemy can react to three different types of damage, and has nine separate phases some which interchange.

a little of this had to do with weapon scripting programming the explosions to send a message that FLD so it knows what type weapon hit it.. but most of this was pretty tedious scripting the FLD enemy trying to fit all these operations including his various attack and normal damage scripting into 40 frames, that I believe roll pretty smooth for what it is.

now I have a little more of a sense of accomplishment with my weapon scripting solid 4th enemy scripting, as well as FLD enemy animation scripting. this is going to be a short game, but it takes a lot of work to set the stage ;)
