IoT Project using SMALLEST ESP32 🧐🧐 Sensor with Blynk | XIAO ESP32 C3 Home Automation Projects

12933 276________

In this ESP32 project, I have shown how to make a simple IoT project using the smallest ESP32 with Blynk IoT, sensor, and IR remote control relay with real-time feedback.
You can also control appliances without internet from IR remote and manual switches.

For this ESP32 project, I have used the XIAO ESP32 C3 development board, which is the smallest ESP32 board available in the market.

Here, I have used the FREE plan of the Blynk IoT platform.

During this ESP32 C3 tutorial video, I have covered the following topics:
00:58 XIAO ESP32 C3 board unboxing
01:32 Pinout Diagram of XIAO ESP32 C3.
02:13 Circuit of the ESP32 C3 IoT project.
03:22 Setup Blynk IoT Cloud for ESP32
04:31 Source Code for ESP32 project.
04:45 Steps to program ESP32 C3 with Arduino IDE.
07:19 Controlling relays from Blynk App, IR remote, and switches.

Required Components for this ESP32 home automation system
1. XIAO ESP32 C3 development board
2. 4-channel 5V SPDT Relay Module
3. TSOP1838 IR receiver (with metallic casing)
4. DHT11 temperature sensor
5. Switches

Important points:
1. You can turn ON/OFF the automation anytime from the Blynk IoT app.
2. IR receiver sensor must have a metallic casing. Otherwise, you may face issues while trying to get the Hex code.
3. The Blynk Automation will not work if the ESP32 is not connected to WiFi
4. You can control relays with switches & IR remote if WiFi is not available.
5. Install the correct version of the ESP32 board (2.0.5) and libraries as mentioned in the code.
7. Please watch the complete video, otherwise you may face some issues.
**Please take proper safety precautions while working with high voltages.

In this ESP32 project, ESP32 will automatically connect with the Blynk cloud when the internet comes back.
You can use any IR remote to control the relays, just get the HEX codes of unused IR remote buttons, and control the appliances with those buttons.
