A compilation of chapters from scripture that encourages us to not be afraid of repentance. The totality of these scriptures encourages us to find comfort and assurance in God's grace and encourages us to turn to repentance.

Romans 8: Provides assurance that repentance leads to a new, liberated life in the Spirit, free from condemnation. It emphasises the unbreakable love of God, encouraging believers to turn to Him without fear.

Isaiah 40: Emphasises the awesomeness of God. It reassures us of God's omnipotence and His readiness to renew our strength. This encourages us to repent by highlighting God's readiness to support and restore those who turn back to Him.

John 14: Emphasises on Jesus' ascension to heaven. But He warns believers to not be afraid or troubled in heart when He is gone. As he will send the Holy Spirit to guid us away from sin but into repentance.

Philippians 4: Reassures believers of God's peace and provision, encouraging us to cast our anxieties on Him. This message of joy and peace strengthens the call to repent, knowing that God will provide and sustain them.

Often times, I find myself struggling to repent to God. Personally, I am afraid that I will fall back into the same of sin again and repeat the cycle. I am afraid that when I continue this cycle long enough I will not feel any guilt anymore but rather the nature of repentance will become like a chore for me. It will be a repentance that is dead and not from the heart. But I believe that God will be faithful to me and judge me by heart and I feel encouraged when I read the following scriptures.

Let us remind ourselves that we love God because He first loved us.
